01
What is the venue address?
The venue located at 25 Rue des Moulins, 95510 Amenucourt, France—about an hour from Paris.
02
Where do I need to be when?
Official wedding activities start the day of the wedding—Saturday, August 9, from 16:30-4:00. On Sunday August 10, we will host an optional brunch and pool party, from 11:00-14:00. Please see the Schedule for more information.
03
How do I get to/from the venue?
- If you would like to drive, there is ample parking available at the venue.
- We will provide shuttle service between the venue and the village of Giverny the day of the wedding. Please let us know if you would like to use the shuttle, and we will reserve you a place.
- It is possible to request an Uber or call a taxi, but as the venue is located in a more rural area, wait times can be long. We strongly advise that you reserve an Uber/Lyft/taxi ride to the ceremony in advance!
- Here are a few taxi services in the area: Fred Taxi [+33 6 81 09 00 43]; Taxi Giverny [+33 6 11 85 86 76]; Taxi Sainte Eulalie [+33 7 71 75 72 50].

How do I get to Giverny?
- By transit: Public transit in Paris is excellent (when not on strike!). There is regular train service from Saint-Lazare station in Paris to the nearby town of Vernon—the Transilien J line, and the TER. Direct trips take under an hour and are under €20. We recommend you book your tickets in advance, as this is a popular route. From the Vernon station, you can take a bus, taxi, or shuttle to Giverny, which is about 10 minutes away.
- By car: There are many reasonably-priced car rental options in Paris, and the drive to Giverny takes about an hour. While not required in France, some companies may request an International Driver’s Permit to rent a vehicle; in the US you can easily get a permit online. Having a car is very useful if you’d like to explore the surrounding countryside, but definitely not essential!
- By Uber/taxi: according to Uber, rides from Paris cost an average of €116, and taxis may cost up to €150+. You can reserve a ride in advance.

Where should I stay during the wedding?
- We recommend staying in the nearby village of Giverny, which has a variety of charming guest houses and B&Bs. Here's a shortlist of Giverny accommodations. This is also where the shuttle to the venue will pick up/drop off.
- The village of Vernon is another good alternative; we can add another shuttle stop if there's popular demand!
- The wedding night, we have also reserved rooms at the venue. Capacity is limited, so please let us know if you would like to stay on site, and we can coordinate for you!
02
What if I plan to stay elsewhere?
There are a wide variety of accommodations in the nearby towns and villages. Please let us know in advance if you'd still like to use the shuttle from Giverny.
03
When should I book accommodations?
- The village of Giverny very small (only ~20 minutes to walk end to end!), and as the wedding is in high season, we strongly recommend that you book ASAP in order to secure your preferred accommodations. Thankfully, there are quite a few cute places to choose from!
- To take in the sites and have a relaxing trip, we recommend arriving the day before the wedding on August 8.

01
What is the dress code?
- We’d love for you to feel cool and comfortable in cocktail or semi-formal attire. Average high/lows in August are 75°F / 55°F (24°C / 13°C), so expect things to cool off by our ceremony time, and heat up for our afternoon pool party the next day.
- The ceremony will be outdoors under some beautiful willow trees, and will require a brief walk on grass. There is also a gravel driveway and broad lawn (including a Pétanque court!) to stroll at your leisure, so please plan your footwear accordingly.
02
Is there a theme?
Please be your colorful self. The wedding party will be dressed in (something) blue, if you’d like to match!
03
Can I take photos or video during the ceremony?
We will have an incredible professional photographer and videographer present during the ceremony, who have asked (with our strong support) that you kindly refrain from taking photos at this time.
04
Do you have a registry?
We are so happy to have you join us in France, and while cheesy it’s true—your presence is a gift! If you would like to share something else, you may do so with our gratitude here.
05
What if I have more questions?
Please email us at we@wesayoui.com, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. We'll be adding more to this site as we approach the big day, so check back for more!
